"The Private Lives of Pippa Lee"

Joel has just finished shooting "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee," the latest film by writer-director Rebecca Miller. The films stars Robin Wright Penn, Julianne Moore, Alan Arkin, Blake Lively, Keanu Reeves, and Monica Bellucci. More details to follow.

"Canterbury's Law

Many thanks to those who emailed about Joel's work on "Canterbury's Law." Despite the fact the show will not be back next season, Joel said working on the show was, "a very positive experience with wonderful actors."

"Round and Round"

This week, Joel concludes his theatrical run in "Six", a collection of six one-act plays receiving their world premieres in New York City. Joel appears in "Round and Round," by playwright Julia Cho. The play is produced by 2g, directed by Kate Whoriskey, and co-stars actress Jennifer Ikeda.

"I Have Been to Hiroshima, Mon Amour"

Joel begins work on Chiori Miyagawa's excellent re-interpretation of the Alain Resnais/Marguerite Duras film of 1959.

"Law & Order: SVU"

Joel's next appearance on SVU will be in historic episode number 200, currently titled, "Authority." The episode will guest star Robin Williams. Air date: April 29.

"The Happening"

The M. Night Shamalayan film opens nationwide on Friday, June 13. See Joel in the trailer here: "The Happening" Movie Trailer.

"Canterbury's Law"

Joel made his debut playing the role of Peter Upton in episode two: "Baggage." See him next on episode six, "Sick as Your Secrets," air date April 18.

"Canterbury's Law"

Joel is pleased to join the cast of the Denis Leary/Jim Serpico produced drama. Currently slated as a mid-season replacement for 2008, the series is described on the Fox website as: "...a courtroom drama about a rebellious female defense attorney who's willing to bend the law in order to protect the wrongfully accused." Joel is scheduled to recur in the role of Assistant Attorney General Peter Upton.

Joel will have a cameo in the upcoming HBO film, "Taking Chance," starring Kevin Bacon.

"The Happening"

Joel will be appearing in the next M. Night Shyamalan film, "The Happening." More information as it becomes available.

Law & Order: SVU

Production on season nine recently went on hiatus for the summer. Thus far, Joel is appearing in the following episodes which air next season: "Impulsive," "Svengali," and "Fight."

Joel concluded a four episode stint as turncoat Seamus Wong on ABC's long-running daytime drama. The episodes he appeared in were: 9632, 9636, 9642, and 9647.

"Richard III"

Joel concluded a wonderful run of the Shakespearean tragedy in October. Audiences said "Richard III" was, "...one of the most intelligent productions of the play I have ever seen," and Liz Keill of the Independent Press wrote, "Joel de la Fuente makes a singular and strong appearance as the Earl of Richmond."
